FACTS
Responsible for: All internal public relations and marketing deployment, heads a core Marketing team and a 'marketing street team' with the PR exec.
Liaises with: Other OWW departments very closely, Union communications and marketing department, University press officials, local press, International office, many internal contacts.
Date recruited: Week 1 of Term 3
 
BRIEF:

Marketing is responsible for the face of OWW on campus and spreading the word. The Marketing exec will head a team of motivated, highly OWW-knowledgeable team members and coordinate the message of OWW to the students on campus.

 
EXAMPLE TASKS:

- Making sure every student on campus knows about One World Week.

- Coordinating campus lecture runs.

- Coming up with ‘crazy’ marketing ideas to spread the word.

- Ensuring the marketing material gets to the right places.

- Research through surveys and questionnaires.

 
CRITERIA FOR RECRUITMENT:
Organisational skills, an excellent command of English, awareness of marketability, high creativity, excellent interpersonal skills, a list of useful contacts.
