FACTS
Responsible for: all F&B concerns during each Days event, World Buffet, a team of approx. 8 helpers
Liases with: Days exec, Union F&B officials, many societies
Reports to: overall Days manager
Date recruited: around week 1 of term 3
 
BRIEF:

The F&B exec creates a varied and interesting programme of meals during the week, hence a large amount of liaising with the Days exec is necessary.

The World Buffet is a grand feast which requires a large amount of careful planning. The F&B exec needs to be very aware of the constraints upon this event, but also the capacity for expansion and improvement.

 
EXAMPLE TASKS:

- liaising with many societies

- creating beautiful displays

 
CRITERIA FOR RECRUITMENT:
Essential: interest, knowledge and passion for food, excellent planning and organisational skills
Desirable: past OWW experience, recipe and general cooking skills, hygiene qualifications
