The deputy coordinator is the ‘right hand man’ to the coordinator. He/she should be acutely aware of the needs of OWW, and be ready to take on the role of the coordinator should the coordinator be unavailable/unable to do so.

The deputy shares much of the responsibility of the overall running of OWW with the coordinator, and past OWWs have been coordinated by a strong partnership between the two.

Both roles require an excellent knowledge and past experience of OWW and of the role that the organising committee plays in producing the world’s largest student-run event.
