5 x Day Managers
FACTS
Responsible for: the overall running of one Day event in the Union, a team of approx. 5 helpers
Liases with: OWW F&B dept, Nights Venue design
Reports to: overall Days manager
Date recruited: currently ongoing.
 
BRIEF:

The Days managers brainstorm and organise to create totally new atmospheres in the Union every single day. This position requires boundless energy and creativity.

He/she will coordinate a team of lively, enthusiastic helpers and needs to bring together a whole array of events together into one coherent, special experience.

A Days manager will also have the support of other Days team members, and needs to be able to manage these helpers effectively.

 
EXAMPLE TASKS:

- organising and managing several different events at the same time

- troubleshooting and quick decision-making

- being a master of ceremonies on stage

- general crowd motivation

- supporting other Days exec all through the week

 
CRITERIA FOR RECRUITMENT:
Essential: lots of energy and enthusiasm, excellent team member organisation, high level of creativity
Desirable: past Days experience, good working knowledge of the Union
