The Arts coordinator chairs the Arts exec meetings and takes full responsibility for every Arts event held on campus. This role requires large amounts of planning and coordination from an early stage and during the Week itself is both demanding and engaging. He/she coordinates an exec team of roughly 5 members and a total team member group of about 15-20. Arts coordinator works closely with Forum and Days execs, and reports all progress to the coordinators. The role requires vision of the position of the Arts element in the whole of OWW, and a large amount of dedication and effort. Must be enthusiastic about Theatre, Music, dance, exhibitions and fashion. |

|
- addressing the entire Arts Centre Theatre - multiple meetings with AC and Capital Centre officials - troubleshooting during the week - dealing with artists, musicians |

| CRITERIA FOR RECRUITMENT: | |
| Past OWW Arts experience, devotion to OWW, high levels of energy and enthusiasm, team leadership qualities. An acute knowledge of the Arts and Capital Centres, past knowledge of the events, involvement in performances in the AC, forward vision to expand the Arts element | |
